The high speed blunger series “GeCo” has a working variable capacity from 1.600 lt. to 20.000 lt. and it is suitable for the rapid preparation of enamels and slips also with very high characteristics of viscosity and density.
The main element of the High-speed blunger is represented by the dissolving unit which is composed by a pitch-bladed turbine impeller of a large diameter and a stator with blades (formed by multiple sectors).
Such unit is capable of dissolving the unrefined material, also directly from the mine, into a liquid solution with a low water percentage completely homogeneous.
The crushing and mixing operation is performed by the fins of the impeller that send the mixture against the cutters of the breakwater.
The working cycle is performed generally as follows: the loading of the water begins and when this reaches 50% of the total load, the machine and the loading of the material to be dissolved begins, which has to be performed regularly in the suggested time of about 20 minutes.
All the machines are prearranged for the addition of an auxiliary pitch-blade impeller (mixer propeller) that performed, working from the bottom of the tank, an easy and uniform incorporation of powdered raw materials in the suspension even if this has a high density.


MAIN TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The tank is built in one piece (or in two halves and mounted by means of bolts and nuts), the circular side is equipped of a series of deflectors that give the ideal movement to the clays solution.
The parts subject to wear (deflectors, protection shield, impellers etc.) are built in special abrasionproof steel.
The following are arranged on the lid: the motorization, the inlet for the liquid loading, the openings of the loading of the solid raw materials and an inspection door for an easy access in the inside of the tank. Some of the parts of the lid can be removed to make the inside of the tank completely accessible; in fact it is possible to change any component without having to remove any component of the motorization.
The tank is equipped of three outlets, one for the outlet of the material, one for the sample drawing, one for cleaning the tank complete of gate valve with stainless steel bulkhead.
